Queens
Sipa is the the revere of Apis (the Latin for Bee). We like to think we know bees back to front!
Sipa Honey Bees are based in West Berkshire. We supply bees across the UK, including areas such as Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and West Sussex.
Ben our lead beekeeper has keep bees for over 12 years, he took an interest in breeding bees, as one of the most fascinating areas of beekeeping. He is a BBKA Qualified Beekeeper, BBKA BASIC Assessor and member of the Beefarmers' Association.
SIPA Honey bees raise all of our colonies in the Berkshire headed by our own queens. Unlike many nuc producers we don't import queens to get early growth but outside of the UK seasonal pattern.
We use tried and tested Buckfast Queens raised from our own stock.
